Moth attack!
I just shaved for the first time in 4 days. I'm back to my boyish somewhat-good-borderline-average-good looks.
So, I've been away from home for a little over a week. I went to Virginia and then I went to California, returning last night (more on that in a bit). I got home at around 2am Tuesday morning and once I opened the front door to my apartment I was greeted by the largest moth I'd ever seen in my life. This thing was huge. It was like a mutant.
So, Mutant Moth and I had a short battle. I tried to kill it quietly (like the ninja), but I have two roommates who were sleeping and when I kill I kill loud. I decided to let it live and see itself out over night, as I retired to my bedroom.
I awoke 3 hours later to get ready for work and Mutant Moth was still mucking about in my kitchen. I decided to slip into ninja mode and try to kill it quietly again. I don't know why I thought the results would be any different. I decided to leave for work and send Ryan (roommate #1) an e-mail telling him to kill the bastard when he woke up.
I came home from work at 5pm and no moth....Q.Ledbetter wins.
So, like I said, I was in Los Angeles, California from Friday to Monday. I was there for the VMA's and related events. I got to do and see a lot of amazing things and meet a lot of cool people, but the highlight was the dinner I had with this lil' lady:

This is Miwa, an artist, poet, emcee, photographer, wonder woman, and good friend of mine that I only just now got a chance to really hang out with in person. I don't want to go on and on about how great a time I had at dinner and talking to her, because you'll get jealous and never read my blog again. I will, however, sum things up by letting you know that if she asked me to elope with her, I would've seriously considered it.
Stop reading this blog and listen to "Dear Boy", by Paul McCartney.
.....okay, now come back to reading the blog.
Oh wait. Never mind. I'm done.
Bye.
