If I were to marry an alien woman and we have a baby, I'd name the child Bing Oblong.
NOTE: Oblong, is not the middle name. Its the second half of the first name.
I hate when I doze off in movies. I was watching a movie I hadn't seen yet this weekend and I kept dozing off. Its really annoying because it was one of those things where I was awake for enough of it for me to understand what was going on, but asleep for all the key moments...like when characters are introduced. At the end of the movie there were people on the screen (who apparently had key roles) that were foreign to me.
Its like watching The Wizard of Oz for the first time and dozing off, then at the end of the movie you're like, "Woah, where the crap did this talking lion come from?!?! This movie must've been craaaaaaazy. Wait a second....there's ANOTHER witch?!"
....and then, immediately, going back to sleep.
I got so much rest this weekend, that by Sunday night (last night) I was wide awake at 2:45am. I played my guitar until around 3:30am and then decided that my body was lying to me. My body is crafty like that. Recently, its been saying its hungry when it really isn't. Like yesterday, I bought Beef Chou Fun (a VERY filling Asian dish) and by the time I started eating I realized I wasn't really hungry at all. I was just bored.
I got tons of studion work done. Speaking of which I should start e-mailing these tracks to people I've been promising to e-mail tracks to for weeks now.
I over heard the following conversation among a group of corporate-upper-class-white-male-types on Friday during my lunch break:
CORPORATE GUY 1: ...Well, at least you'll get a little road hed.
CORPORATE GUY 2: Hahaha....precisely!
CORPORATE GUY 3: You guys have me all wrong. I won't be getting a little road hed. I'll be getting a TON of road hed!
*eruption of laughter*
I'll bet you didn't see that coming. Its a true story, though.
